Project Overview
The company wanted to introduce this new product offering to the competitive North American flavored water market. It necessitated a strongly branded shelf presence that would help build consumer expectations. This was achieved by creating a refreshing and inviting design system that communicated clearly the product’s essential qualities.


The Challenge
To create a brand and graphic communication system that overcame the public association of Omega-3 with fish oil. It had to be clear before the consumer picked up the product that this drink tasted good, was good for them and was made from natural vegetarian sources.

The Solution
Four design directions were created for a focus group and used the data from those sessions to proceed with the final design which included fruit flavor identification, beneficial and vegetarian friendly quality call outs and creatively places windows in order to see the product.

Effectiveness
The client was thrilled, the label production and bottling went smoothly and on schedule, while POS components and Website were prepared for a summer rollout. The branding has tested well and a catchy Phase 2 brand naming is in place once the brand identity is established.
